Corporates are increasingly getting behind the growth of renewables, helping fast-track new schemes and catalyse growth of the sector. More and more companies are looking to procure renewable energy directly to help manage cost, enhance security of supply and provide additionality, with some companies looking to source 100% of their electricity needs in this way.
However, the corporate PPA market remains in its infancy with barriers in the way between buyers and sellers. This breakfast seminar will connect buyers, renewable energy site owners and senior decision-makers to discuss the challenges and opportunities for corporate procurement of renewable power.
Participants will be able to:
• Understand and discuss opportunities and challenges in renewable energy procurement and PPAs (costs, regulations, contracts, etc.)
• Make connections between commercial buyers and renewable electricity suppliers
• Gain greater awareness of the key participants in the corporate PPA market and likely growth.
Who should come:
• Procurement teams seeking to source power needs from renewable power
• Developers looking to engage with corporate power purchasers
• Energy professionals looking to learn more about the growth of this important market.
